An Organization Analysis

Working for a company can present many challenges if the organization is not setup and ran properly. In order for an organization to be created on purpose and merit, the individuals developing it must also. The owner of the organization that I work for was employed with a company prior before owning his own company. The office that he worked for, he noticed how some of the doctors in the office did not provide the patients with the type of care that he felt all patients deserved, thus creating the slogan for his company, “with an angelic touch”. The company is in the health field, it is a dental office.
The types of groups that are common in our organization would the first that the organization is an informal group because the organization provides social needs for the employees. Some of the employees get together outside of work to spend time to get to know one another. The organization also contains an interest group that come together whenever there are issues within the organization that need to be dealt with to help benefit the employees. For instance, the company was going to change the health insurance policy that would require an increase in premium and co pay but the organization would not be able to increase pay so that the health insurance increase would not has such a big effect on the employees. A few of the employees got together and went to the managers to discuss other options and a few weeks later the organization decided to keep the same health insurance.
The other type of group that is common in our organization would be the friendship group because several of the employees there have common characteristics;
